The Demonstration of Baby Jesus in Carabayllo

On the 23rd December, the demonstration of Baby Jesus was held in Rosa Luz. This year, the demonstration started from the chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Everything started with a group of children enacting the event of the first nativity scene which St Francis of Assisi organised for the first time in Greccio in 1223. The demonstration ended at the SDC centre in Puente piedra. Christmas gifts were distributed to those who attend the SDC centre for faith formation. Additionally, various statues and books were distributed by lot. This beautiful event was an occasion by which many got to know more about the SDC and attracted more childrren to start attending the SDC centre.
Interestingly enough, another demonstration was held in Los Olivos. A priest, who used to minister in our parish and had the opportunity to attend the demonstration last year, managed to organise a demonstration with Baby Jesus in his current parish of our Lady of Angels in Los Olivos.
