Demonstration of Baby Jesus in Valletta

The demonstration of Baby Jesus took place at Valletta (Malta) on Friday 22nd. An encouraging number of people gathered in front of the chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Victory and joyfully walked towards St John Co-Cathedral singing traditional Christmas carols with the statue of Baby Jesus. The participants entered into St John’s to attend a celebration around Baby Jesus, with carols and christmas poems. Archbishop C. J. Sciculuna delivered his message, emphasising the central role of Jesus in Christmas. The event continued along Republic Street till it reached the entrance of Valletta.
