Meeting for Catechists and Missionaries (Cuba)

On 21 October, the SDC members of the Sagua la Grande centre, who coordinate the Diocesan Commission of Catechesis, organized a seminar for the catechists and missionaries of all the parishes of the diocese of Santa Clara. The subject was ‘Teaching our children to pray’. About 200 people gathered in the Diocesan Sanctuary in Santa Clara, where the seminar was held. The seminar ended with a mass celebrated by H.G. Mgr Arturo Gonzales, bishop of the diocese. During the seminar the catechists bought hundreds of books and booklets published in Spanish by the SDC, including translations of books by our founder, a biography about Gilbert Simiana, and many booklets with activities, crafts and games related to the Old Testament, New Testament, and the Liturgical year.
