Launching of two important SDC documents

On 3 May, the document The Dimensions of an SDC Centre was launched during the Wednesday General Meeting. The Superior General spoke about the consultation process leading to the writing of the document by the GEC. He also summarized the content of the document, which lists the four dimensions of an SDC Centre, namely: the communitarian dimension, the contemplative dimension, the formative dimension, and the apostolic dimension. A copy of the document was distributed to every member.
The Ratio Formationis Generalis was then launched during the Wednesday General Meeting held on 28 June. This document gives the principles that guide the formation of candidates in the SDC. During the meeting the Secretary General and Joseph Gauci GEC reviewed the process leading to the writing of the document and the contents in its chapters. Every member also received a copy of the Ratio.
Both documents are currently being translatedto English and Spanish.
