Demonstration with Baby Jesus in Lurin

On Monday, December 23rd, 2024, children and young people from the SDC Centre of Lurin, along with their parents and members of the St. George Preca Group, gathered to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus in the streets of Lurin. Many families prepared their homes to welcome Baby Jesus and offered prayers, particularly for the sick members of their families. Back at the SDC Centre, everyone gathered in the yard for Christmas carol singing. Some children recited poems while others performed traditional dances. Christmas gifts were distributed to the children and youth who attend the SDC Centre. After a moment of prayer, everyone enjoyed some good food before heading home. The event took place in a joyful atmosphere with musical instruments that accompanied the celebration.
