Christ Our Hope

Mass and a moment of prayer and reflection on the hope brought by the birth of Jesus were organised in the Auditorium, Blata Bajda, on Sunday, 22 December 2024. English-speaking people were invited to this event. During the homily, Fr Kevin Schembri encouraged everyone to be a source of joy in their encounters with others, inspired by Mary, who brought joy to Elisabeth through her visitation. After Mass, there was a time of reflection and prayer focused on hope and the example of humility illustrated by Baby Jesus, as presented in The School of Bethlehem by St George Preca. Superior General was present and passed his message and Christmas greeting. The Sacrament of Confession was available. Following the meeting, printed material about the SDC was distributed and a honey ring was given to everyone who attended.
