Preca Cottage (USA)

Fr Arthur Ssembajja, the new parish priest of St Anthony of Padua Church in South Bend, visited Preca Cottage on 5 April 2023. Through Ms Ruth Lasseter, the SDC is building stronger ties with St Anthony’s parish, which is the parish closest to Preca Cottage.
On 21 April, Trinity School at Greenlawn sent a group of students to help at Preca Cottage. The students cleaned the pool and the garden area. Trinity School is an independent Christian school found just across the road from Preca Cottage.
Ms Lasseter continues to support the SDC in USA by organising one-to-one meetings at Preca Cottage. These conversations focus on living the faith and the spirituality of the Founder.
An Easter celebration was held on 9 April with a small group of children. The informal event focused on the great honour to which we are called by God’s great love through Jesus.
