Demonstration with Baby Jesus in Sagua

On Christmas Eve, 2024, amid a complete blackout in Sagua la Grande and under the threat of rain, children, teenagers, parents, and members of the San Jorge Preca Group conducted a procession with the baby Jesus from the SDC center to the parish church. Upon arrival, they performed two short plays and sang two carols in front of the congregation gathered for the Midnight Mass. The courage and faith of these individuals, who sought to let Jesus be a beacon of light in the Cuban darkness, is truly admirable.
