Bible Study Group (Durrës)
The SDC members have been establishing new contacts in Durrës. As from May 2023, a group of Catholic adults living in the neighbourhood of the SDC residence started attending for Bible Study sessions. The sessions are held once a month, in a prayerful atmosphere and all participate eagerly.

The Society has been working in Korçë for the past thirty years, providing religious formation to various groups of children, adolescents, and even young people. The need to start some ministry among adults was felt by the members and after consultation with the parish priest, the SDC centre decided to establish the St George Preca Group that would meet every last Friday of each month at the SDC centre in Korçë.
The first meeting was held on Friday, 28th April 2023. During these meetings, the participants study and reflect upon the life or writings of our Founder St George Preca. Catechesis on a particular subject related to life, such as the Mystery of the Incarnation, the Church, Scripture, Morality, Death, follows. These meetings allow for some socialization time, where participants get to know more each other and have some informal conversations while enjoying some refreshments.
Feedback from participants is positive and encouraging. Thanks be to God for all the blessings bestowed on the members of this group through this initiative.
