Visit to the SDC Centre of Lurin

On Sunday, 16th February 2025, Mons. Enrico Balzan Caruana, Auxiliary Bishop of La Serena, Chile, together with Fr Mark Mallia Pawley, started a week-long visit to the SDC Centre in Lurín. They had the opportunity to observe the apostolate being carried out by the SDC Members in Lurín while also enjoying a few days of rest. On Tuesday, 18th February 2025, they met with the associates of the St George Preca group. Together with the SDC Members, Mons. Balzan Caruana and Fr Mark spent a day in Pucusana, a fishing village in the southern province of Lima, on Wednesday, 19th February 2025. The children and adolescents who regularly attend the SDC Centre were delighted to meet the bishop and Fr Mark and felt encouraged to take their faith formation more seriously.
