The Apostolic Nuncio for Malta visits the SDC

During the General Meeting of Wednesday 10 April 2024, the Apostolic Nuncio for Malta, Msgr Savio Hon Tai-Fai, met the members and candidates of the two sections in the Auditorium of the General House, at Blata l-Bajda. The meeting started with the reading of a short biography of the Nuncio and a feature on the history of the Society. Afterwards, the Nuncio shared a message, inspired by the Declaration of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, “Dignitas Infinita”, on Human Dignity, published recently. He encouraged us never to forget how much God loves, even if we are sinners. After a reading from the writings of the Founder and prayers, the Superior General gave out his message. The two Superior Generals offered a gift to the Nuncio, an icon of the Virgin Mary of the Verbum Dei, together with a relic of the founder. The meeting was concluded by the prayer of the Holy Trinity led by the Nuncio in Maltese, and the singing of the hymn of the founder.
