Meeting on the Missionary Spirit for SDC Candidates (Malta)

On Saturday, 8th February 2025, the SDC candidates of the Delegation of Malta and Gozo gathered for a meeting on the missionary spirit at the formation centre in the SDC General House, Blata l-Bajda. Candidates are young people undergoing formation during their period of discernment regarding God’s calling in their lives.
SDC member Mario Bezzina was invited to this meeting, where he shared his missionary experience at the SDC Centre in Ruiru, Kenya. He emphasised the importance of having a strong faith in Jesus, as this fosters perseverance in following Him, despite the challenges one may face in life. He also highlighted the significance of living the present moment, as this enables a deeper engagement with each stage of life.
The candidates also had the opportunity to ask questions about the missionary calling and the apostolate being carried out by the SDC members in Kenya.
