Holy Week in Puente Piedra (Peru)

During the Holy Week, the SDC Center of Puente Piedra in Peru, opened from Tuesday till Friday for the Holy Week program. Each session started with a 15 mins clip of the movie Jesus of Nazareth, followed by the prescribed program written by St George Preca. During the week, there was no play time as an act of sacrifice to accompany Jesus in his suffering. Then, on Sunday 31st March, everyone attended morning Mass as a community to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Breakfast followed after Mass. The Easter celebration, written by St George Preca, was held at the SDC Centre after breakfast. Whoever was present for this joyful celebration was given some sweets. In addition, raffle prizes were drawn among those present followed by some time for games.
