Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

The feast in honour of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal was celebrated in her chapel at Blata l-Bajda on Friday, 29 November, 2024. Eucharistic adoration started at 5:00 pm, during which the Holy Rosary was recited and concluded with a Eucharistic blessing. The solemn feast mass followed, led by Rev. Franco Fenech, the Parish Priest of the Parish of The Immaculate Conception in Ħamrun. Rev. Kevin Schembri, the rector of the chapel, concelebrated. During the homily, Rev. Franco shared a reflection on how Our Lady Mary herself gave the Miraculous Medal during her apparitions to St Catherine Labouré in Paris. This is another tool to help Catholics fight evil. The mass concluded with the blessing of the Miraculous Medals, which were distributed to the congregation. The hymns were led by the choir of novices of The choir of novices of the Daughters of the Sacred Heart led the hymns.
