Advent in the Chapel

In preparation for Christmas, an Advent celebration was held on Friday, December 6, 2024, in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Blata l-Bajda. The theme of the celebration was ‘Blessed are you who believed!’. Attendees were invited to reflect on the fact that Advent is a time of active anticipation. Following Mary’s example, everyone was encouraged to believe, rejoice, and serve while awaiting the birth of Baby Jesus. Participants were invited to draw a slip of paper from the manger containing a suggestion on how to make the most of the Advent season. The sacrament of Confession was also available throughout the celebration.
The second session of Advent in the Chapel will take place on Friday, 20 December, 2024, at 6.30pm in the Auditorium, il-Blata l-Bajda. Mass in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal starts at 6.00pm.
