A Visit to the New Parish Priest of Kiratina

On Thursday, 28 November 2024, the members of the SDC Centre of Ruiru, Kenya, together with a couple of candidates. visited the new parish priest of Juja Farm, Fr Paul Omari (a Mariannhill Father). He was appointed parish priest about five months ago, and hence, took charge of the pastoral ministry of the Kiratina outstation where the Ruiru SDC Centre is doing apostolate every Sunday morning.
During this meeting, the members and candidates introduced themselves and spoke about the SDC’s charisma and spirituality. They offered Fr Paul printed material about the SDC and the Founder, St George Preca.
When Fr Paul learned how the SDC is carrying out the apostolate in Kiratina, he expressed his desire to introduce the same method of apostolate and propose the same resources in the other four outstations that are under his care.
Thanks be to God, Fr Paul is grateful for what is being done in Kiratina through the SDC. He also discussed with the members other possibilities of apostolate that can be organised for the young people of Kiratina.
Let us pray for the SDC Centre of Ruiru to continue with this apostolate for the good of the people of Kiratina outstation which is dedicated to St George Preca.
