On the canonization of Pier Giorgio Frassati, Preca Publications has released, in the Maltese language, the book Pier Giorgio Frassati – Un giovane secondo il Vangelo from the Editrice Velar series.
The book presents the inspiring story of a young man born in Turin in 1901 to a Piedmontese family. Courageous and full of joy, he allowed the Gospel to shape his character and guide him on the path to sainthood.
Through this biography, readers gain insight into the historical context in which he lived, his way of life, the teachings that formed him, and above all, the bold decisions he made; choices that deeply marked both his own journey and the lives of those around him.
Pier Giorgio Frassati was canonized by Pope Leo XIV on Sunday, 7 September 2025.
