Bla Sold u Bla Qorq (without a coin and without sandals) is a book in Maltese written by Fr Dionysius Mintoff OFM and published by Preca Publications to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi. It has been designed to accompany readers throughout the year, with each day featuring an episode from the life of Saint Francis or the wider Franciscan family.
Following the example of Saint Francis of Assisi, every Christian is called to become an instrument of peace among others. This peace, which springs from the heart, must be expressed through acts of love, especially towards those who are most in need.
