The event WATCH, REFLECT, ACT, focusing on the theme of education, continued on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, at the DĦS Conference Centre. Prof. Simone Galea introduced The Teachers’ Lounge (Das Lehrerzimmer), a German film directed by İlker Çatak and released in 2023, which explores a school robbery that triggers a chain of further challenges.
Prof. Galea raised important questions about how schools can be both hospitable and safe environments for teachers and students, as well as about the broader theme of justice. These issues were then taken up in informal discussions among participants after the screening.
On Wednesday, 17 September, the film Club Zero will be shown, and everyone is warmly invited to attend.
