U Sar Bniedem

On Saturday, 6 December 2025, the families of the pre-candidates and candidates gathered at the Dar il-Ħanin Samaritan Conference Centre for an event themed U Sar Bniedem (And Was Made Flesh). For this occasion, the candidates prepared an inspirational video demonstrating how Christmas finds its true meaning in the simplest aspects of everyday life. In the birth of Jesus, we see God himself becoming small so that we need not fear drawing near to him.
During the gathering, three role models were presented to illustrate how one can become a saint through small acts carried out with great love in the simplicity of daily life: Saint Louis Martin as a model for fathers, Saint Gianna Beretta Molla as a model for mothers, and Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati as a model for young people.
At the end of the meeting, the Superior General shared his message with the candidates and their parents. He invited the parents to pray for their children so that they may remain steadfast in performing good deeds within the SDC.
Afterwards, everyone enjoyed some social time and exchanged Christmas greetings.
