Thanksgiving Gathering

SDC members celebrating the 50th, 60th, and 70th anniversaries of their incorporation (full membership) in the Society of Christian Doctrine (SDC) gathered for a thanksgiving celebration at Dar il-Ħanin Samaritan in Santa Venera on Monday, 29 December 2025.
The programme included reflections from the writings of the Founder, Saint George Preca, and the first Superior General, Eugene Borg, focusing on the SDC vocation and the identity and mission of the SDC. The gathering also allowed time for sharing, during which members reflected on how God had worked in them and through them over the years.
A Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated by Fr Rene Vella, who was also commemorating 50 years since his incorporation. The gathering concluded with a fraternal lunch.
