SDC Association Ceremony (USA)

On Sunday, 13 July, 2025, Ms. Ruth Lasseter was formally welcomed as an Associate of the Society of Christian Doctrine (SDC) during a short yet meaningful ceremony held at Preca Cottage, South Bend, Indiana. The celebration featured prayers, hymns, Scripture readings, and spiritual reflections by the Founder.
The ceremony was led by the Secretary General, who offered an inspiring reflection on the vocation and mission of an SDC Associate. Among those in attendance were Ruth’s family members, close friends, and friends of the SDC, including Fr. Arthur Sembajja, parish priest at St Anthony de Padua Catholic Church in South Bend.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered to celebrate Ruth’s association with the SDC over a light dinner featuring finger foods and warm fellowship.
Ms. Lasseter has played a vital role in fostering connections and friendships that support the SDC’s presence in the United States. She continues to maintain Preca Cottage, where she regularly hosts meetings and activities based on SDC spirituality.
