Sajda Museumina (Malta)

Thanks be to God, Thursday 17 September 2026 marked the first day of Sajda Museumina, a three-day event being held at the Dar il-Ħanin Samaritan Conference Centre and St Michael School in Santa Venera.
A good number of children, adolescents and adults gathered at the Conference Centre, where they had the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities. These included various exhibitions and displays, spaces for prayer and reflection, activities for children and adolescents, and an area for recreation.
The participants then made their way to St Michael School, where the adults attended a reflective talk in the school grounds on the beauty of our Catholic faith, while the children and adolescents took part in engaging sessions prepared especially for them.
At the end of the evening, everyone was able to enjoy some food together in a welcoming and joyful atmosphere, accompanied by live music and organised games for the children.
Adult visitors were given a complimentary copy of the Gospel according to St Matthew, while children and adolescents received a newly published Maltese book entitled Il-Fidi Kollox! Through colourful comic-style illustrations, the publication presents episodes from the life of St George Preca in a way designed to appeal particularly to younger readers.
We give thanks to the Lord for this wonderful event and pray that, over the coming days, many more people will take the opportunity to attend Sajda Museumina and share in this experience.
