Rooted in today,
rising towards tomorrow

The SDC members of Lipa, in collaboration with the Parish Youth Committee of the Parish of Santo Niño, Marawoy, Lipa City, organised a youth seminar entitled Rooted in Today, Rising Towards Tomorrow! The event was held on Saturday, 21 February 2026, and gathered around 45 young parishioners, most of whom were teenagers.

The theme chosen for this formation session, as a follow-up to a previous seminar about leadership, was vocation and discernment. Reflections were shared about shining examples of the Christian faith from the last 50 years, together with practical tips on discernment, stories of young people facing choices, and the beauty of different vocations. There was also the time for prayer, games, food and raffles with religious items.

Thanks to the leaders of the youth and the parish of Santo Niño for this opportunity. Above all, let us thank God for providing the SDC members with these meaningful encounters.
