PrecaFest 2026

For the second consecutive year, the Society of Christian Doctrine (SDC) organised PrecaFest on Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at St Michael School, Santa Venera. This activity brought together the male and female members, together with the co-operators and associates of the SDC. The theme for this year was Sibna Xortina! (We got lucky)

Before leading the opening prayer, the Superior General of the male section introduced the gathering by sharing a message in which he emphasised the beauty of love and unity among those who seek to love Jesus and become his disciples. This is also the calling that Jesus is making to the SDC family.

SDC members Vince Meli and Phyllis Falzon shared a personal experience of the Founder and reflected on how their encounter with the Founder left a lasting impact on their lives.

Following these reflections, there was a time of adoration and prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, followed by the Eucharistic Blessing led by Fr Daniel Galea O. Carm.

At the end of the occasion, the Superior General of the female section shared her message and led the closing prayer.

The activity concluded with a time of fellowship together.
