Pilgrimage of Hope (Malta)

On Wednesday, 11th June 2025, the Society of Christian Doctrine organised a pilgrimage for Maltese SDC members and candidates from both sections, as part of this year’s Jubilee of Hope. The participants gathered in front of St Mark’s Chapel in Rabat, from where they set off on their pilgrimage to St Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina. Along the way, prayers were recited, including passages from the Psalms and other Biblical texts. After passing through the Door of Hope, the SDC members and candidates completed the prayers required for obtaining indulgences. The pilgrimage concluded with the celebration of Masses presided over by Fr Hector Scerri.
