Participation in the SEDOS Spring Seminar

On Tuesday, 10 March 2026, Alan Bonello, Counsellor of the Delegation of Malta, together with David Dye, SDC member, participated in the Spring Seminar organised by SEDOS at the UISG Headquarters in Rome. The seminar focused on the theme Impact of the Digital World on the Missionary Involvement Today.
The first presentation, delivered by Fr. Joel Nkongolo, examined both the challenges and opportunities that the digital age presents for missionary activity. This was followed by a talk from Br. Dennis Tayo titled Spirituality of Communion in the Digital Age. The programme continued with an engaging reflection by Sr. Pina Riccieri on the impact and experience of being a missionary in today’s digital world.
The seminar concluded with a period of discussion and reflection, offering participants valuable insights into how missionary work can be renewed and strengthened in an increasingly digital society.
