On 24 July 2025, twelve young members of the Society of Christian Doctrine (SDC) left Malta to take part in the Jubilee of Youth in Rome. This international event, held during the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025, brings together young people from around the world to celebrate their faith, deepen their Christian values, and experience the global unity of the Church. The Jubilee of Youth is one of the main highlights of the Holy Year, proclaimed by Pope Francis to offer a message of hope and spiritual renewal in today’s challenging times.
Throughout these days, participants will take part in moments of prayer, cultural activities, and a pilgrimage through the Holy Doors, a symbol of grace, forgiveness, and new beginnings. Events like these underline the vital role of young people in the Church’s mission today and in the years to come.
The celebration will culminate on Sunday 3 August with a solemn Holy Mass at Tor Vergata, led by Pope Leo XIV.
