Missionary Experience in Ruiru

Five SDC candidates, accompanied by their Director, Daniel Micallef, and SDC member Raymond Muscat, left Malta on 31 July 2026 for a three-week missionary experience in Ruiru, Kenya, where the SDC has one of its centres.
The five candidates are young men currently undertaking their formation and discerning their vocation within the SDC.
During their stay, they will have the opportunity to spend time with the members and candidates of the Ruiru SDC centre, as well as to participate in the various faith formation sessions and activities organised by the centre.
This missionary experience will also offer them an opportunity to experience the life and mission of the SDC in a different cultural and pastoral context.
Let us accompany them with our prayers, asking the Lord that this experience may enrich their journey of formation and give them a broader perspective on the mission of the SDC.
