Mission Accomplished?

On Saturday, 11 April 2026, SDC candidates and pre-candidates of the Delegation of Malta and Gozo, together with their families, gathered at the DĦS Conference Centre for an Easter reflection entitled Mission Accomplished?
While, in one sense, Christ’s mission on earth reached its fulfilment, it also marked the beginning of a new mission entrusted to the Apostles: “Go into all the world and proclaim the Good News to the whole creation.” This mission continues in the life of the Church today, and the SDC seeks to take an active part in this calling.
During the gathering, participants reflected on how the Easter message has been expressed across different cultures through art, music, architecture, and even traditional foods from countries in which the SDC is present.
The event concluded with a prayer for peace, followed by a message from the Delegate of the Superior General. Afterwards, those present spent some informal time together, strengthening their sense of community.
