Jubilee of the Missions

Between Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th October 2025, the Superior General, together with a group of eight SDC members, took part in the Jubilee of the Missions in Rome. This Jubilee of the Missions formed part of the Jubilee of Hope 2025, which the Catholic Church has dedicated to the renewal of faith and the missionary spirit. Thousands of missionaries from across the world gathered to pray, share experiences, and reaffirm their commitment to proclaiming the Gospel. Throughout the weekend, the pilgrims participated in special Masses, moments of reflection, and had the opportunity to encounter fellow missionaries. This jubilee served as a powerful reminder that the missionary vocation remains a living sign of the Church’s universal mission in today’s world.
