Jubilee of Catechists (Lurín)

The Diocese of Lurín, located in the south of Lima, organised the Jubilee of Catechists as part of this Jubilee Year of Hope. All the catechists of the diocese gathered on the morning of Sunday, 4 May 2025, where, in a joyful atmosphere, there was singing and a speech addressed to the catechists. Afterwards, the catechists proceeded in pilgrimage from St Peter’s College to St Peter’s Cathedral, where Bishop Carlos García Camader celebrated Mass. SDC members and candidates from the SDC centre of Lurín took part in this pilgrimage. We continue to pray that catechists may remain ever more faithful to the Word of God, so as to share it with others in joy.
