Holy Confirmation (Cuba)

On Saturday, 21st June 2025, around 50 young people and adults received the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Parish of Sagua la Grande, Cuba. The Sacrament was administered by Monsignor Arturo Gonzalez, Bishop of the Diocese of Santa Clara. The candidates undertook a three-year catechetical course to prepare themselves for receiving this Sacrament. Around 10 of them received formation through the catechesis sessions held at the SDC centre or are members of the St George Preca Group. Some are already assisting in the catechesis sessions, which take place in the parish church every Saturday afternoon. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit may find truly fertile soil in their hearts!
