Formation for Catechists (Cuba)

On Saturday, August 31, the SDC Members of Sagua la Grande (Cuba) organised a meeting for the catechists of the diocese of Santa Clara who prepare adults, young people and adolescents for the Sacraments of Initiation. During this meeting, the catechists were given new textbooks that were prepared by the SDC Members at the request of the Bishop. As of this year, these textbooks will be used by the catechsist in all the dioceses of Cuba. The catechists were also given guidance to help them understand the importance of adult catechesis, the characteristics of a good catechist and the methodology used. Thanks be to God for this fruitful experience which continued to encourage the catechists in serving the Church through the ministry of catechesis.
