First Holy Communion (UK)

A group of 38 children received their First Holy Communion at Holy Rosary Parish, Brixton, over two Sundays – 18th and 25th May 2025. They had been preparing for this special occasion throughout the year by attending the parish catechism programme, which began in September of the previous year.
At each First Holy Communion Mass, the children were accompanied by their families, friends, and fellow parishioners. Fr Vincent Omokpakpo, the Parish Priest, was the principal celebrant.
May all the children continue to cherish this important milestone in their Christian journey and come to know Jesus more deeply in the ‘breaking of the bread’.
