Festival de la Comunión (Lurin)

On Sunday, 27th April 2025, the Festival de la Comunión was held. This is an annual event organised by the Diocese of Lurín. All the parishes within the diocese gather to celebrate unity and to strengthen their sense of community. The SDC centre of Lurín took part by setting up a stall from which books and religious items were available for sale. The funds raised during the festival contribute to the needs of the diocese and its parishes.
Throughout the day, around 50,000 people visited the festival. The strong presence of young people created a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. Mass was celebrated, and there was also time for food and socialising. Many individuals expressed their interest in getting to know the Founder, St George Preca, and the SDC, and a good number of books were sold. The Festival de la Comunión offers a valuable opportunity for more people to become acquainted with the SDC.
