Festival de la Comunión (Lurín)

On Sunday, 19th April 2026, the annual Festival de la Comunión took place in the Diocese of Lurín. Parishes and communities from across the diocese gathered to celebrate unity and to strengthen their sense of fellowship. The SDC centre of Lurín participated by setting up a stall offering books and religious items for sale.
During the event, Mass was celebrated by Bishop Carlos Enrique García Camader, President of the Peruvian Episcopal Conference, in a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere fostered by the strong presence of young people.
Members of the SDC distributed leaflets about the Founder, St George Preca, and about the SDC itself, with particular emphasis on its apostolate and the events organised by the SDC centre of Lurín. This contributed to making the SDC better known and to forming new connections.
