Feast of St George Preca (UK)

To mark the feast day of the Founder, St George Preca, a Mass was celebrated on Friday, 9th May 2025 at the SDC House in Upper Norwood. Members of the SDC Friends group, along with other parishioners, were invited to attend. The celebrant was Fr Celestine Ekwueme, Parish Priest of St Matthew’s, West Norwood, who offered a reflection on the outstanding virtues of the Founder and the call to imitate him in our daily lives.
Presentations on the life of St George Preca were also delivered to children preparing for their First Holy Communion and Confirmation, as well as during meetings with parents.
