Jubilee of Vocations (Malta)

As part of the Jubilee of Hope, on Saturday 10th May 2025, the eve of the Fourth Sunday of Easter, also known as Vocations Sunday or Good Shepherd Sunday, the Jubilee of Vocations was celebrated in Malta. This event, held at the Archbishop’s Seminary in Rabat, was organised by the Seminary’s vocations centre in collaboration with vocational leaders from various congregations, religious orders and the SDC.
The event comprised three stations: Encounter, Listen, Respond. These were linked to the Emmaus story and included several testimonies of God’s call from individuals across different congregations. SDC candidates actively participated in this jubilee, especially by producing a mime on the theme of listening. Various aspirants, accompanied by SDC members, were also present.
The final station concluded with an intense moment of adoration before the Eucharist, led by His Grace, Auxiliary Bishop Mgr Joseph Galea Curmi.
