Educating the Heart

To mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malta and the Holy See, the Apostolic Nunciature to Malta and the Society of Christian Doctrine held a symposium on Thursday, 12th June 2025, at the DHS Conference Centre, Santa Venera.

Centred on the theme of education, the keynote address was delivered by Prof. Carmel Borg, who reflected on Educating the Heart: Rediscovering Our Core Values. Dr Maria Montebello and Dr Ian Mifsud contributed as the principal respondents. The discussion was further enriched by a question-and-answer session, during which participants were also invited to share their comments and reflections on the theme.

Mr Bernard Catania, a talented guitarist, enhanced the occasion with two musical pieces. The symposium was brought to a close by the Apostolic Nuncio to Malta, Mgr Savio Hon Tai-Fai.
