Demonstration of the Baby Jesus (Sagua)

The demonstration of the Baby Jesus in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, was held on Christmas Eve. Despite complete darkness caused by the daily power outage, the SDC members managed to organise the event, which was attended enthusiastically by children, parents and parishioners, all filled with joy and festive spirit.
The demonstration began at the SDC centre and concluded at the parish church. The children presented their well-prepared Christmas poems and drama to those gathered.
The courage and commitment shown by the children, teenagers and parents were truly admirable, particularly given that some of them travelled from a considerable distance.
May the love, peace and joy of the Baby Jesus always dwell in our hearts.
