Demonstration of Baby Jesus (Ruiru)

On Sunday, 21 December 2025, the last Sunday of Advent, the SDC members and candidates of the Ruiru centre organised the Demonstration of Baby Jesus through the streets of Ruiru. Children, young people, parents and members of the Friends of Saint George Preca group processed with the Baby Jesus, singing Christmas carols and reading passages from the Gospel.
This was a joyful demonstration which, while highlighting the greatness of the mystery of the Incarnation, God becoming flesh, also showed how God humbled himself and became a child, so that every person might feel at ease to draw close to him and allow themselves to be loved by him.
Let us pray for all the people who were present in the streets and witnessed this Demonstration of Baby Jesus, that they may receive the grace to recognise the great love that God has for each one of them.
