Demonstration of Baby Jesus (Poznań)

The Demonstration of the Baby Jesus, organised by the SDC centre of Poznań, took place on Sunday, 28 December 2025, in the city centre. Despite freezing temperatures and slippery conditions, a group of our young people, together with other friends of the SDC, carried the statue of the Baby Jesus through the streets.
Participants sang Christmas carols and read passages from Scripture, prompting passers-by to pause and watch, listening with interest.
The demonstration concluded beautifully at the Collegiate Basilica Church. At the end of the evening Mass, the participants were unexpectedly welcomed by the Parish Priest, who offered them his blessing and extended his best wishes for the coming year.
