From 1 to 4 July 2026, nineteen young members of the SDC spent four days of rest at Dar Għajn Karem in Gozo. Through informal time together, they had the opportunity to strengthen their friendships, grow in fraternity, and come to know one another better.
During their stay, they visited the Basilica of St George in Victoria, where the Archpriest, Canon Joseph Curmi, gave an engaging explanation of the Neo-Byzantine Adoration Chapel. They also visited Il-Ħaġar: Heart of Gozo.
Preparing and sharing meals, swimming, visiting the Basilica of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu, and praying together all contributed to a memorable experience that deepened their love for the SDC and their vocation.
Let us give thanks to the Lord for all that he is accomplishing in the lives of these young members and for the good that he continues to accomplish through them. Deo Gratias!
