Christmas Prize-Giving (Ruiru)

On Saturday, 13 December 2025, the SDC centre of Ruiru organised the Christmas prize-giving celebration for the Preps, the Elects, the Aspirants and the Candidates. The following day, Sunday 14 December, another prize-giving celebration was held for all the children attending the sacramental preparation programmes, namely those who will receive Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation in the coming year.
A large number of children from Ruiru received a Christmas gift in keeping with the SDC’s tradition. At Christmas, in accordance with the wish of the Founder, St George Preca, all children receive a small gift as a reminder of the great gift given to us by God the Father: the Child Jesus, the Son of God who became man.
