Christmas Celebration for Former Members (Malta)

An encouraging number of former members attended a Christmas gathering organised specifically for them on Monday, 15 December 2025. The meeting, held at the SDC General House, centred on the theme With Great Love. Following the viewing of a Christmas feature, the Secretary General shared a reflection on how every person is invited to love God through the simplest things in life. Participants were also given the opportunity to share with one another personal life experiences through which they express their love for the Lord God and for others.
Through a reflection on humility from the School of Bethlehem, written by St George Preca, participants reflected on how, following the example of the Child Jesus, who humbled himself out of love, we too are invited to walk in his footsteps and embrace the nobel virtue of humility.
The participants then enjoyed some informal time together, during which they exchanged Christmas greetings.
