Dads and Lads Weekend (Adelaide)

Dads and Lads is a special event designed to strengthen the bond between fathers and sons while fostering fellowship and camaraderie in the SDC community.
From 4 to 6 July 2025, a group from the SDC centre of Adelaide travelled 130 km northwest of Adelaide, to Price, a small township on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. Over the weekend, participants shared stories, reflected on life experiences, and deepened their sense of community and faith.
Two highlights of the trip included a 100 km journey to St Columba’s Church to attend the Sunday Vigil Mass, and a fun morning of catching squid, which later became a delicious homemade marinara pasta enjoyed by all.
